MLB Ballpark #1/30 : Going back to the past to my very first MLB stadium

Having moved to Toronto from a place where baseball isn't big at all, I still wonder to this day what got me into the sport.  Little did i know back then that it would lead to becoming a big part of why I travel at all.  Here is where it all started and it's located where I call home:

Rogers Centre (screw it, it's still the Skydome to me) - Toronto, Ontario
Visited - First time in 1998

Impressions: When the roof is open, it is quite the view seeing the CN Tower in front of the summer sun.  It is a different story when the roof is closed as it's lack of history and character become more obvious in the multitude of concrete blocks all over the interior make it look like a warehouse instead of an MLB park.  While the stadium converting it's Windows Restaurant into a patio improved the site, the symmetrical dimensions of its playing field sums up it's lack of unique features compared to most ballparks.  Unless it having symmetrical dimensions is its unique feature...
