MLB Ballpark #4/30 : St. Louis

St. Louis is home to the Gateway Arch and the Budweiser Brewery, both of which are worth visiting.  Getting a tour inside the Gateway arch allows you to view the city from the miraculous view of the top of the arch and being up that high over a city isn't something that most places offer without flight.  For the beer lover, touring the massive Budweiser Brewery is a must as they show you how they make their beer in a property the size of a college campus.  Sadly, when I toured the brewery, I was 20 years old and 11 months so I couldn't divulge in the samples but it was still an experience.

Busch Stadium - St. Louis, Missouri
Visited - April 2010

Impressions: The skyline in the outfield is one of the most memorizing things I've ever seen in a baseball game.  Seeing the arch once again on the centerfield grass was a cool effect made by their groundscrew.  A few minutes into the game, I realized that this is where Mark McGwire did his massive home run show back in 1998.  It is quite the sight at night once it's dark and all the stadium's lights are on, most notably the Jumbotron.   Despite the game being rained out by a huge storm that day, the stadium is still one to visit, but have an umbrella handy.
