Other Sporting Venues #8 : NBA Playoffs in the Air Canada Centre

As a basketball fan, I have clearly been to the Air Canada Centre before to watch the Toronto Raptors play.  Hell, I've even watched them back in the mid-90s when they played in the Skydome.  Having endured decades of losing basketball, or losing in any sport since I do live in Toronto after all, I was willing to pay a lot of money to watch a playoff game in my own city, and it was really worth it!  There's nothing like a playoff atmosphere especially with fans who have been waiting for so long for any sort of success (I'm looking at you Blue Jays).  The crowd in their uniform white shirts, which were given away for free since the tickets were pretty pricey, would go berserk after every basket.  They ended up winning this game, which was their first playoff victory in years, and everyone erupted inside.  Everyone was giving each other high fives even if they never met before.  If you get a chance to watch a playoff game, do it, since the atmosphere alone is worth the price of admission.
