Other Sporting Venues #2 : Heinz Field
This was my first ever NFL game and it had the makings to be an epic night. It was a Sunday night primetime affair, between two rivals teams in the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens, but then their main players started getting hurt. By the time the game started, I had spent $320 for the ticket to watch a game minus Ben Roethlisberger, Ray Lewis, and Troy Polamalu and his luscious hair. The environment was great as the die hard fans really get you pumped up into the game as the entire stadium filled up with the Pittsburgh black and yellow colours. One small complaint of the game which I should have seen since it was in November was the temperature drop after halftime where I could barely hold my beer. Also, before I forget to mention, if you ever get a chance to tailgate before an NFL game, do it. There's no cooler feeling than dual-wielding a couple cans of Budweisers and drinking them in front of cops while you walk around downtown with no care.
